PVAMU High School Stock Challenge
Welcome Teachers and Students!
The College of Business at Prairie View A&M University hosts annual high school stock challenge. This competition is conducted 100% online on PVAMU’s virtual trading platform (pvamutrading.stocktrak.com). This challenge is open to high school teams in the greater Houston area. Each team should consist of three to four 10th to 12th-grade students. A faculty advisor (teacher or counselor) per high school is needed as well for teams to compete in the competition. There is a limit of six teams per high school. Each team will have $500,000 virtual dollars to invest in stocks and Exchanged Traded Funds (ETFs). The top three teams with the highest portfolio returns at the end of the challenge will receive $1,000, $800 and $500 respectively. Each student will receive a participation certificate and be invited to the Young Investor Symposium in conjunction with the Award Ceremony where winning teams will receive trophies and prizes.
Third High School Stock Challenge
The third high school stock challenge from October 17, 2022 to December 9, 2022 has ended. There are 24 teams from nine high schools participated in this challenge. The top three winning teams are:
First Place - Team 'cletus' from Bryan High School, 7.57% return
Second Place - Team 'RockingStock' from Hempstead High School, 4.11% return
Third Place - Team 'Fetus' from Bryan High School, 2.99% return

Hooray!!! The College of Business at Prairie View A&M University just concluded the annual high school stock challenge, which started from January 27, 2020 and ended on April 3, 2020. There are 15 high schools with about 150 students participated in this year's challenge.

The inaugural challenge was conducted from September 24 to November 16, 2018. There are more than 200 students from 22 high schools participated. The winners of 2018 challenge are:

Second Place: GOFORDO from George Ranch High School, 1% return
Third Place: GreenTeam from Young Women’s College Prep Academy, 0.4% return
