:The Bloomberg Professional service , Bloomberg’s core offering, is a software platform that provides trusted real-time and historical data, market moving news and analytics to help business and financial professionals make better informed investment decisions.
Trading room has ten Bloomberg Terminals (computers with access to Bloomberg Professional Service) and there are four Bloomberg Terminals located at Northwest Houston Center Room 226. Bloomberg Terminals provide students with access to the same information platform used by leading business, financial and government decision makers and media professionals around the globe. Incorporating Bloomberg into curriculum brings real worlds of business and finance into classroom to provide students with hands on learning and better prepare students for the global job market.

Bloomberg offers a training program - Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC). BMC is a self-paced e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to the financial markets. BMC consists of 4 modules - Economics, Currencies, Fixed Income and Equities - woven together from proprietary Bloomberg data, news, analytics and television. Upon completion of BMC, students will receive a certification which can boost credentials for getting an employment. BMC is complimentary for PVAMU students on Bloomberg Terminals.
